Berkeley

I booked this room for just one night for its proximity to the Metro (visible from our balcony) & Montparnasse train station (5 min walk) as we were leaving early the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised by just how helpful the staff were and the fantastic location for restaurants etc. (Highly recommend Vache Comptoir just around the corner for exceptional food, kind staff & fair prices.) The room was small (it's Paris) but very comfortable and clean -- and we had a great view. The balcony windows opened to let in light, fresh air and Parisian ambiance which was a great bonus. Our room was ready earlier than expected which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. We had troubles with the shower and the front desk clerk did not hesitate to come right up to our room to help. We returned to Paris later in the week and very much regretted not returning to the Berkeley for that longer stay.

The hotel is very well located, near to the Montparnasse - Bienvenue tube station (less than 5 minutes walking) and in an area full of bistrots, restaurants and shops. The room was not very big, but clean and comfortable. recommended if you are looking for a hotel near the tube lines and in a nice area.

This hotel is located in an ideal location, close to a train station, many restaurants, markets and laundromats; it is close enough to many tourist attractions, via public transportation or walking but far enough that the price of things isn't inflated.

You get what you pay for, all the necessities are provided. Perfect for tourists. Perfect location for all public transport. Lots of cute bars and cafes around.

The location was great! There’s a metro station right outside and plenty of restaurants near by. Walking distance to Luxembourg Garden. The room was small but comfortable and clean, it gave us what we needed between days of seeing the city. Has A/C, which was great in the middle of summer! Underground parking was across the street.
